How do I view my own profile?
To view your profile as other members see it click the “My Account” tab at the top, and then click “View Your Profile” on the left. You will see your profile as it appears to others on the site without the buttons to contact yourself.
How do I edit my account?
The Edit Profile page can be found under the “My Account” tab. From there, you can change as much information as needed. Make sure to click the “Next” button at the bottom to get to the next page and other account info.
How do I change my password?
You can update your password from the Edit Profile page, which can be found under the “My Account” tab. Make sure to click the “Next” button at the bottom to save your changes.

Make sure to pick a password that's easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess.
How do I change my User ID?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to change a user ID.
How do I change my email address?
You can update your email address from the Edit Profile page, which can be found under the “My Account” tab. This will bring you to the account information form. There you can change your email address as needed.

The email address you enter will be the address all notifications and forgotten password reminders will be sent to.
How do I change my location?
You can update your location from the Edit Profile page, which can be found under the “My Account” tab. Make sure to click the “Next” button at the bottom to save your changes.
How do I change my email notifications?
You can change your email preferences from the Email Settings page, which can be found under the “My Account” tab. From here you can specify how often you would like each type of email notification sent to you. Click “Update” when finished to save your settings.
How much does an upgrade cost?
You'll find our rates are great compared to other dating sites. All the different upgrade plans and rates are listed on the upgrade page. Simply click anywhere it says “Upgrade Now” and then choose a payment method. Doing so will allow you to glance over the different options available for that method of payment before you decide to upgrade.
How do I upgrade?
You can upgrade your account via the Upgrade Page by clicking any of the "Upgrade Now" links.
Why should I upgrade?
You’re here to meet people right? Upgrading your account will unlock many features that a Basic Membership status won’t allow, making it very easy to meet others.

- Email anyone on the system. Anyone can open email you send to them, including Basic Members.
- Read all email sent to you, including email sent from Basic Members.
- Start an Instant Message (IM) with someone
- Access all of the chat rooms
- View full-size photos from member profiles
How do I cancel my account or delete my profile?
We're sorry to see you go. To cancel your account, simply login, go to the "My Account" section, then click "Cancel Membership".

Email requests for account cancellation cannot be honored unless you are logged into the system. This is for security reasons.

Once your account is cancelled you will not receive any emails nor will your account information be visible to anyone.

If you decide that you want to come back, we’d love to have you... simply log in with your user id and password to reactivate.
How do I cancel my automatic renewal?
You can cancel your automatic renewal by logging in and going to the Cancel Membership page, found in the "My Account" section. From there, click on "Membership Status". Your account status, duration, and renewal status will be displayed with the "Cancel Auto-Renewal" link below it.
Help, I forgot my password!
Please use the Forgot Password link in the login window to access your account.

You will be asked to verify your email address. You must enter the email address you used when you registered your account. Your login information, including your password will automatically be sent to that email address.

Also, please make sure email from us is not being blocked and labeled as spam.
I paid, can a non-paying member read my email?
As an upgraded member, anyone you email can read and reply to your message regardless of whether or not they're upgraded.
Help, I don't get responses to my profile!
Things take time, hang in there. Online dating (on every site, not just ours) is similar to meeting people and dating in the real world. You get out of it what you put into it.

If you are waiting for responses to your profile, you'll continue doing just that, waiting. Make sure that you are sending out plenty of emails and interests to keep things active. It works!
How do I change my email notifications
To change your notification options, click the "My Account" button at the top, then click Email Settings on the left.

This page will allow you to change how often you receive messages from us.
How do I hide my profile?
Currently, it’s not possible to "hide" a profile. The closest thing to that is to deactivate your account temporally. To do so, simply login, then from your dating dashboard, click the My Account button at the top, Cancel Membership on the left.

When you are ready to reactivate, simply log in with your user id and password.
Help, I can't log in (Earthlink/ users)
We have found that some software provided by Internet Service Providers are causing problems with sessions, such as's Turbo Page and Earthlink's Accelerator. Their browser plug-ins simply change your browser's settings to use a proxy server, which prevents your computer from receiving the session cookies. To fix this, try either disabling that option in your web browser, or get the Firefox web browser free at
