I am 53 years old and have been self-employed for over 30 years. By definition, that means I am flexible and driven. I was married for almost 25 years to my college sweetheart and we are still neighbors and remain friends today as we have only one daughter and one grandson. My daughter is in her third year at MUSC and like every father, I think she is the best thing I ever helped create in my life!
I am not your typical bachelor ... I sing and dance, enjoy the theater and the feeling that only a morning walk on the beach can bring. I cook (really well), clean, do my own laundry and own my own house ... and I am heterosexual!
I am NOT looking for a "roll in the hay" as I know from personal experience that relationships that last as long as my first marriage are based on friendship and common interests. Physical attraction will get a couple together, but being nice to each other will create a future full of great memories! I have very strong spiritual beliefs.
The Ten Commandments, yes ALL of them, remain the best manual for life. I believe that people should LIVE and SHOW their faith daily, and not preach it. Oh yea, dogs and kids seem to like me. That, I am told, lets you know that I really am a nice guy.
I am the eternal optimist and spend most of my time trying to promote and live a positive life and like to spend time with others that look for, and bring out the best in others. I find jealousy and possessiveness to be real turnoffs to me and I tend to be attracted to women who are self-employed, in sales or management.
